Facial Rejuvenation
Facial rejuvenation helps reduce acne, scarring, pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles by diagnosing facial weakness areas (where wrinkles or fine lines occur first) through Ruri face diagnosis. The underlying organ disharmony or weakness is then treated simultaneously with body points. Following the initial consult and diagnosis, acupuncture needles are placed on the body to correct the imbalances that are causing ageing in the face. Then very fine acupuncture needles are then inserted into the appropriate areas of the face using a special technique designed to maximise treatment results to help lift and plump the skin.
Factors affecting skin damage and causes wrinkles: smoking, heredity, occupation and recreational sun exposure, diet, stress, lack of sleep, excessive exercise, rapid weight loss, lifestyle and pollution. Optimal age to commence cosmetic acupuncture is in the late twenties and early thirties when the first signs of ageing appear. The skins natural renewal process declines after the age of 28, so the earlier you start the better results.
You will definitely notice a difference after the first treatment; your face is brighter and lifted. But the real results take place 4 to 6 weeks after the body’s natural cell renewal process takes place and new skin cells come through. The recommended treatment plan is once a week for 8 to 15 weeks. After then it's maintenance, recommendation is once every 4 to 6 weeks. It is advised to complete the 15 treatments for maximum results. And also home maintenance is required to amplify the effects of this treatment, to help buff the new skin, maintaining the smoothness and preventing future fine lines from setting in, by using a derma roller and dermal hammer.
